Viviana Astudillo is a Toronto-based visual artist, skilled in acrylic painting, airbrushing, spray paint, mural painting, wood burning, and illustration. Art has been part of Viviana's life from early on, participating in her first art festival at the age of nine as the Canadian delegate in the International Child Art Festival in Washington DC. She was later invited back to speak at the second and third ICAF festivals, where she carried a workshop entitle "Colours of Peace" for the child delegates. Other festivals and shows in which she has participated include the International Children's Festival on the Environment, MANIFESTO Hip Hop Festival, Nuit Blanche, and the Association of Ecuadorians in Ontario festival and Nathan Philip Square, Toronto. Viviana has received recognition for her contributions to her community in the form of the Governor General's Award in Commemoration of the Person's Case, Ontario Medal for Young Volunteers, Rotary Youth Impact Award, CSI community Builder Award, Artist of the New Millennium-USA, and Latin American Achievement Award. Currently she is a student at the University of Toronto, seeking a Major in Zoology and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, volunteering in her community, and pursuing the arts.
