
Matthew has worked and volunteered with community-based organizations and international NGOs in five developing countries. The programs he has been a part of have primarily focused on microfinance, health, and local capacity building.
Matthew's responsibilities have included project design and oversight; partnership research and development; monitoring and evaluation of projects; staff and volunteer recruitment, training and management; organizational positioning and strategic planning; budget preparation and report writing; and communications and NGO website development. A fluent Spanish speaker, Matthew graduated from the University of Toronto. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Council for International Cooperation.

Krittika has over ten years experience working in immigrant and marginalized communities in New York City ranging in issues from domestic violence, workers rights, post 9/11 hate crimes against South Asians, Muslims and Arabs, to public health. Most recently, Krittika was the Project Coordinator of the DREAM (Diabetes Research Education and Action against Minorities) Project at the NYU School of Medicine, where she oversaw a Community Health Worker project on diabetes management in the Bangladeshi community in New York City. Krittika was very involved in social justice work in the South Asian community, and is the founder of the Shakti Peer Group, a membership based organization of peer educators on domestic violence.
Since moving to Toronto in July 2010, Krittika has been volunteering for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Autism Ontario, and now, Impact First International. Krittika Graduated Magna cum Laude with a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Women's Studies from Simmons College, and a MSc in Gender Studies from the London School of Economics. In her spare time, Krittika is an avid photographer and a voracious reader.

Karin has extensive experience working as an accountant in both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations.
She worked in a retail company in China as an accountant before immigrating to Canada. After coming to Canada, Karin managed the accounts of a hotel and went on to work for an accounting services company to maintain the accounting books for clients. Karin now does accounting and bookkeeping for Impact First.
Karin holds degrees in Chinese Language and Literature (Shandong University, China), Financial Accounting (Shandong Business College, China), and Computerized Accounting (Metro College, Toronto).
